D.B.A All Metal Products Company
Wyandotte, Michigan
1920 - 1956
All Metal Products Company was originally designed to produce automobile
parts, guns and rifles. The company ventured into other directions in
the mid 1930’s becoming a large toy distributor. In 1936, they
introduced a new line of brightly colored metal lithographed toys. In
1950 All Metal Product Company merged with Hafner Manufacturing Company,
a mechanical toy train manufacturer. When plastic became the common
material used in toy making, All Metal was not able to compete and filed
for bankruptcy in 1956. |
