Black Americana Toys
Many companies in the late 1800's and first half of the 1900's made toys
that featured black-faced characters. There are many collectors of Black
Americana, so a toy with a black-faced character has a higher market
value than a similar toy with a character that is not black-faced. Most
black-faced toys we have been able to identify the toy maker and are
shown throughout the website. This chapter shows Black Americana toys
that we have not been able to identify the maker. |
